Creating a paradigm shift in how human societies operate and define their role within Earth’s ecosystem necessitates a shift on an individual and community level, encouraging a new perspective and mindset when it comes to perceiving non-human entities and actively engaging with them. The design outcome was a board game called Mitti, in which players assume the role of land stewards tasked with preserving a thriving soil ecology. The game emphasises the need for a deep transition perspective and the existing societal systems to improve our faltering relationship with the environment of the planet.
