With the advent of 3D printing, the capacity for unique product creation has expanded, offering greater flexibility. However, the predominant use of polymers, or plastics, in 3D production introduces its own sustainability concerns. The burgeoning trend in 3D ceramic printing presents an alternative with bio-degradable materials, potentially revolutionising this landscape. The project investigated whether the relationship between humans and objects is transformed through 3D customisation using bio-degradable clay material. By exploring this intersection of technology, individual perception, and environmental consciousness, the study examined the implications of 3D ceramic printing to the evolving dynamics of human-object relationships and sustainability considerations.
