Waste Champion is a social innovation project designed to foster sustainable waste management habits among primary school students in Vientiane, Laos. This gamified toolkit, using locally based materials and interactive play, includes an Educator's Handbook, a Journey Tracker for students, and three card games that teach students about material origins, eNective waste management, and circular economy concepts. It also challenges them to apply what they learn in a 61-day challenge game. By completing the challenges, students become familiar with sustainable waste management practices, turning these actions into lasting habits and inspiring sustainable choices within their families and communities.
