"Soooooil connection" is an interactive projection experience designed to educate and engage children about soil ecosystems. Using projection mapping and hand tracking, the project animates creatures like worms, beetles, and scorpions within mapped circles on a surface. When a hand reaches a specific circle, the creatures react—diving, scattering, or curling up—creating a playful yet educational experience that reveals the hidden world beneath our feet. This medium-sized installation is part of a soil education kit aimed at raising awareness about soil conservation and fostering a connection with nature through hands-on, immersive learning.
