Reflexion is an experiential speculative art installation series that utilises reflective mirrors to create intentionally disorientating experiences, engaging with their complexity and unpredictability. The series intends to demonstrate the use of disorientation as a tool for deeper learning, encouraging recontextualization and new perspectives. This central theme of constructive disorientation is echoed in different ways through the three different installations by using mirrors, semi translucent acrylic, and ultra-black paint to manipulate light. This series is proposed to be an outdoor installation series, where the environments the boxes are placed in are reflected back to the viewers, simultaneously having being manipulated and distorted.
