Embracing the End envisions a transformative environment that encourages open engagement with death, blending cross-cultural perspectives to challenge and reshape traditional Eastern attitudes toward mortality. The design comprises three primary spaces: a Death Café fostering guided conversations about death, allowing visitors to approach the topic with acceptance and understanding; a Focus Lab (Cross-Cultural Exhibition) exploring the psychological impacts of diverse cultural approaches to death, guiding participants from initial hesitation to reflection and openness, breaking down cultural taboos; and a Garden of Life, an interactive memorial space designed to alleviate loneliness through nature, presenting death as a continuous, natural part of life.
