Inspired by the "Night Assist" project on Tom Melbourne, D-BELL offers multi-sensory, modular, and adaptable triggering options, catering to individuals with mobility impairments, hand disabilities, and visual impairments. By integrating sound sensor, ultrasonic sensor, arcade button, D-BELL enables faster, effortless emergency calls. The system provides immediate feedback—through auditory, visual, and tactile signals—reassuring patients their calls are successful. Additionally, D-BELL’s nurse interface streamlines responses, supporting efficient and timely patient care in diverse healthcare settings.
