ctrl c + ctrl v is a critical participatory installation that invites audiences to feel what it is like to be trapped in a culture of copying. Emerging from my own frustration of seeing my work replicated without credit, the project turns that tension into an embodied experience. At its centre sits a modified keyboard where every key performs only copy and paste whilst the control key is deliberately disabled, symbolising the loss of agency within digital culture. Surrounding screens visualise each duplication in real time, revealing how imitation becomes habit and prompting reflection on more ethical and intentional creative practice.
