Catch of the Day, located in South Melbourne Market, offers a local tasting experience featuring bite-sized samples of underrepresented Australian seafood species, such as barramundi, king whiting, murray cod, and garfish, rotated each weekend according to the seasonal catch. Customers are invited to experiment with classic and experimental spices in an interactive seasoning station.  

By promoting less internationally known species to those who would otherwise face barriers to taste it, Catch of the Day encourages shift in consumer behaviour & demands to ultimately improve the local economy & protect the ocean health
