'Beyond the Toss' explores the link between consumer habits and climate change, using soft plastics and icebergs as symbolic elements respectively. Through interactive soundscapes, the project connects the crackling of crushed plastic with iceberg formation, reflecting environmental pollution. This spatial experience encourages reflection on single-use plastics’ convenience and their broader impact. By offering an immersive perspective, 'Beyond the Toss' invites viewers to reconsider everyday choices, highlighting factors driving climate change beyond fossil fuels. Displayed in galleries, it emphasises personal responsibility, raising awareness of consumer culture’s role in environmental degradation.
