GRAP2943

The clear and concise communication of complex contexts and design propositions is a crucial skill every designer must possess. This course explores the connection between mediums of communication and their role in the development of ideas, as students gain specific technical skills in key design processes. By working with generative techniques, visual hierarchies, graphic composition, and time-based narratives students develop judgement in the appropriate application of various media in the generation of concepts and the realisation of design outcomes. Upon successful completion of this course, students have an essential understanding of the importance of the critical integration of design medium, process, and ideation in order to communicate concepts.
