The engagement of design research thinking within the professional practice of design is one of the key philosophies of the MDIT program. In this course, students have the opportunity to extend their design methodologies and professional practice knowledge and skills by working directly with industry. They can select one study option from a range of choices which may include a global intensive, a practice-based studio, an internship or a partnered industry project. The course is based on a self-directed learning process and teaching staff act as facilitators or supervisors, helping to guide students with appropriate resources and advice.
