GENER(AI)TIVE

Gener(ai)tive embarked on a design journey exploring the fusion of generative AI, design thinking, and cultural diversity. Students were introduced to generative AI and its role in decoding and interpreting cultural design cues. By employing AI tools, students examined various global design narratives, highlighting the potential of AI in understanding, and blending different cultural elements. Simultaneously, the students explored design thinking, examining how empathy, ideation, and iterative prototyping can lead to creative, user-centric designs. The students actively experimented with AI tools to blend distinct cultural designs, creating unique diverse patterns and critically, assessing their cultural integrity, relevance, and utility.
