COLLECTIVE IMAGINARIES
Current visions of a climate-changed futures are still embedded in industrial capitalist thinking. Those most affected by the climate crisis have pointed out that production and manufacturing contribute to a large part of the situation. The studio developed knowledge-based speculations, experiments, scenarios that went beyond the technical, technological, and economic aspects of Circular Economy (CE) towards the creation of hopeful, alternative, fairer narratives for change. Outcomes of the studio took the form of a CE-inspired narrative using a social innovation lens, storytelling, imagination, systems thinking, and participatory approaches based on common and shared social and cultural values of specific contexts.
