Playmorph is a network that connects children and parents through joyful play interaction in both physical and virtual space. Through a series of playground installations and a smartphone app, the urban environment is represented as an alternate land of treasure, in which a child can travel to discover and collect jewels. Each site has a playscape where children can form different play objects. Parents become involved in the child’s play by using their smartphones as a tracking device to locate new playscapes and game challenges.
