V(R)SION (v-er-sion) gamifies urban design by placing the player in a Virtual Reality version of an urban district. In this virtual world, the player interacts with and controls the nature of the urban environment. The player's decisions trigger changes in the environment that visualize the effects of their actions. It is intended that the game will be set up in community hub spaces where the public would be invited to play. Players are invited to save screen-shots of their version of the city, which are then exhibited. The output of this community interaction acts as both a survey and idea generator which express people's desires and needs of the type of city they would like to inhabit.
