Moducware was developed as a nontoxic alternative to plastic food containers. The containers are made from biological polymers reinforced with natural fibres. Potato starch is used as a bio-polymer and natural fibres such as cotton rag/remnants and corn husk are the composite material. The Moducware range was designed for use in food-trucks parks, street food festivals and food-courts in which food scraps and the container that holds it can be disposed of as compostable waste.
