This course looks at creating microprocessor activated physically interactive objects and environments. Students become proficient in interfacing with open-source electronic prototyping platforms such as Arduino. They investigate the creative use of sensors that detect stimuli such as movement, light and sound and the application of program code to generate instructions for an active or reactive object, sculpture or performance.
