TRANSHUMANISM

The studio questioned the nature of the human-computer interface and how it expresses our relationship with machines and with each other. The studio unpacked the capability that artificial intelligence and robotics can potentially bring to current infrastructure and virtual systems.

The studio explored how machine learning is an education for robots as well as for the humans who program them. The need for autonomous systems to ‘sense with sensitivity’ was seen as being paramount in the design of AI systems. Ultimately the studio exposed the need for an investigation of the ethical boundaries that shape the way we interact with and deploy new technologies.
